Smilies fly out of the screen

I was approached by a video producer with a request to create an animation on video for a video.

T.Z. was the following:

With the help of 3D tracking, add an effect to the video – emoticons that fly out of the screen.

Total 3 scenes:

1. The girl sits at the computer and emoticons and icons of various learning applications should fly out of the screen.

3. A guy blogger on a scooter holds a smartphone out of it, emoticons related to his interests and profession.

How did I complete the order

First of all, I made 3D tracking of all scenes and got the key points for which you can connect objects.

Now I should have used the Adobe After Effects plugin called Stardust. This plugin allows you to generate various particles, as well as use different objects as particles.

I chose a set of emoticons and loaded them into a separate layer.

Then the most difficult part was to make the Stardust plugin be able to attach the emitter of particles to the reference points. And here the very complex magic of working with express programming, which I will not describe here, is boring and complex.

After I tied the emitter to the dots, I had to adjust the particles.

I decided to make 2 layers of particles to make it more interesting. The first layer is the environment – yellow green luminous particles that add volume to the scene. To do this, I used the noise map and put it on the position of the particles. Here I used 2 noise cards – with a small resolution and with a large one. So I had both large bends and small vibrations of particles.

The next step I created the particles in the form of emoticons. Installed the emitter on the screen and attached it to the tracking point.
