An order was received for the creation of a visualization of the map of the Russian Federation from a law company, on which regions would appear in a certain order where branches of the company would appear in order. In addition, it was necessary to finish the ‘new’ regions of the Russian Federation, which were not on the maps.
Originally chosen HUD (Head-Up Display) style was chosen. As a map, I had to use a detailed projection of the map, which greatly complicated the project. However, there were no regions of the Russian Federation on the simplified map.
I used the Mercator projection because it can then be rolled into a ball.
The most difficult thing in the project was to give the map the HUD style. To do this, I used a lot of shoreshki (decoration) – these are red dots, luminous borders with the Bloom effect.
